Where the Atlantic meets lush green pastures, nyce. is born - at our own small-batch facility in Kerry, Ireland. No contract manufacturing, no compromises: every recipe and every batch is made in small quantities under our own roof - a deliberately different path from much of the protein industry.

Kerry: rugged coast, gentle pastures
The southwest of Ireland is one of the greenest regions in Europe: a mild Atlantic climate, plenty of rain, rich grass almost all year round. This is exactly where we are at home - and exactly why the quality of our shakes doesn't start in a factory, but on the pasture.

Pasture milk from Irish farms
The milk for the milk protein isolate in our shakes comes exclusively from Irish pasture-raised (grass-fed) producers. The cows graze outside for around 240 days a year on average, with a diet of around 95% grass - independently verified under the Irish Grass Fed Standard. For our vegan line, we rely on plant-based protein sources instead.

Development and production of the protein powder line are entirely in our hands in Kerry: from the first recipe draft through every batch to the finished can, with documented processes and controls along the entire production chain. We are not the biggest in the industry - but every step here has a name attached to it.

Our company begins developing and producing food in the southwest of Ireland - in our own house.

Irish nature: bog & woodland
Our quality begins on Irish pastures - so we give something back to the landscape we owe so much to. We support Hometree, a nature restoration charity based in Ennistymon, County Clare. Their best-known undertaking is the Wild Atlantic Rainforest Project: protecting the remnants of Ireland's ancient Atlantic rainforests, planting new native woodlands and rewetting the blanket bogs between them - so the landscape stores carbon and water again and creates habitats for animals and plants.

Meals that arrive
Good nutrition is at the heart of what we do - and at the same time it is far from a given for many people. That's why we support the Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin: founded in 1969 by Capuchin friar Brother Kevin Crowley, the centre on Bow Street provides homeless people and families with hot meals and food parcels - open to everyone, no questions asked.

Sport at home: Na Gaeil, Tralee
Our home is Tralee in County Kerry - and there, the GAA club is at the heart of the neighbourhood. That's why we support Na Gaeil, the Gaelic football club from our home town: football for men and women, youth training and activities that bring the community together - carried by volunteers.
